I’ve been contacted by NaturalMotion, an Oxford based technology company. They have an AI software called endorphin, which as I can understand from, simulates body movements accurately. They used it to create a rather entertaining simulation of Zidane/Materazzi headbutt.
They suggested I take a look at it and share it with you.
I guess what I could tell from the video is that, Zidane’s headbutt was a painful one!

Edwige Madze Badakou of Togo was crowned the first Miss WM ahead of the June 9 start of the month long World Cup in Germany. The 24-year-old student competed against 31 other women representing the countries competing for the world football championship to take the title.
Coming in second was Maria Garrido B'aez, 23, of Spain, and third was Ecuador's Katty Lopez Saman, 23.
The competitors in the pageant appeared in their national football jerseys as well as the traditional swimsuit and evening gowns. Miss WM and her runners-up were chosen by a jury that included football players, a referee and a rhythmic gymnast.
Most of the 32 competitors were average though. I personally liked the Ukrainian representative and the Ecuadorian girl was okay. Oh yeah and Saudia Arabia had a representative too!

German soccer team Eintracht Fuhlsbuettel have been nearly unbeatable for the past three seasons, but no matter how much they dominate their division, they can never be promoted.
Why you wonder? Because it's a prison club! The team includes convicted rapists, killers and drug dealers. For the only prison soccer team in Germany, which plays in a regional league, away games are not an option.
Their 62 year-old coach says football is like therapy for the inmates.
I wonder if they play guards vs. inmates heh!
Named 'The new Ronaldinho', he might look nothing like Ronaldinho, but he certainly can score free kicks like him, and he's got his own set of tricks. Kerlon is a center forward best known for his 'seal' dribble. He Swiftly flicks the ball up from the turf onto his head, then proceeds to glide past opponents, whilst bouncing the ball on top of his forehead. The speed at which he travels when doing this, coupled with his unique ability to change direction as he runs with the ball above his head, often makes bewildered opponents resort to simply pushing him over and fouling him.
"It's just a skill I have, though it's not meant to be a mark of disrespect for my opponents," he says. "Opponents say they will snap me. But this doesn’t scare me it just motivates me even more."
Although established as his trademark, the player has counteless other talents up his sleeve. Able to operate in an advanced midfield position, or as a forward, the 18-year-old is an expert dribbler and possesses wonderful ability to slip weighted passes in behind defences. He is also a free-kick expert, and given the amount of fouls the seal dribble draws, this trait is made all the more beneficial.
Kerlon has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past.
The Arabic FA are in talks with Champions League winners Barcelona to organize a football match between them and current Arab Champions League winners Al-Raja Al-Baydawi. The Arabic FA is hoping to make this match a yearly competition between winners of of both Champions Leagues.
If only 'Nadi Al-Fatat' had such outfits.. and the same looks for that matter ;p
Seriously though, I think it's time Kuwait women participated on international level. Who knows, they might achieve more than the male national team!
