I’ve been contacted by NaturalMotion, an Oxford based technology company. They have an AI software called endorphin, which as I can understand from, simulates body movements accurately. They used it to create a rather entertaining simulation of Zidane/Materazzi headbutt.

They suggested I take a look at it and share it with you.

I guess what I could tell from the video is that, Zidane’s headbutt was a painful one!

My thanks go to Scotti McGowan, who represents NaturalMotion, for contacting Footy In A Week.

Streaker: Someone who engages in streaking, purposely appearing and running nude in public.

Football had it’s big share of streakers. Here are some videos.

WARNING! Might not be safe for work. Includes brief nudity.

A streaker actually scored an amazing goal once..

A funny streaker commercial. If streakers ruled the world!

Young player to watch – Juan Carlos Chera

He's 137cm tall and weighs 35 Kg. Oh ya and he's 10 years old. Around the world he's known as 'The next coming of Pele', in his town he's called 'Maradona', but he simply likes to be called 'Anderson', a nickname his parents gave him. In January 2005, a video was released by his old youth club, Associacao Desportiva Atletica, showing off his skills from age 6, sparking huge interest and hype. The Brazilian kid is an excellent dribbler and possesses a sharp finishing touch. He launches missiles with his left foot and he skillfully makes players years older than him look stupid with either foot. His youth club's team president said about him: "He’s a phenomenon, probably the best player to come out of Brazil.” Following the release of his video, Juan Carlos attracted interest from top European clubs like, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Porto and Inter Milan. But Brazilian club Santos beat all the European clubs, and he currently trains with them. His favorite soccer club is Barcelona and Ronaldinho is his role model.

Did I mention he's 10?

BBC’s MOTD goals of the season

These were the best goals in the English competitions in the 2005/2006 season. Some pretty fantastic goals.

Also came across this spectacular goal, scored by Bordeaux player Reira in a  UEFA Cup 2003 match against Hearts.

Young player to watch – Kerlon

Named 'The new Ronaldinho', he might look nothing like Ronaldinho, but he certainly can score free kicks like him, and he's got his own set of tricks. Kerlon is a center forward best known for his 'seal' dribble. He Swiftly flicks the ball up from the turf onto his head, then proceeds to glide past opponents, whilst bouncing the ball on top of his forehead. The speed at which he travels when doing this, coupled with his unique ability to change direction as he runs with the ball above his head, often makes bewildered opponents resort to simply pushing him over and fouling him.

"It's just a skill I have, though it's not meant to be a mark of disrespect for my opponents," he says. "Opponents say they will snap me. But this doesn’t scare me it just motivates me even more."

Although established as his trademark, the player has counteless other talents up his sleeve. Able to operate in an advanced midfield position, or as a forward, the 18-year-old is an expert dribbler and possesses wonderful ability to slip weighted passes in behind defences. He is also a free-kick expert, and given the amount of fouls the seal dribble draws, this trait is made all the more beneficial.

Kerlon has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past.
