Madrid wasn’t the only place all emotions, as in London there was a similar farewell. Arsenal played their last game at Highbury stadium, as they move to the newly built Emirates stadium next season. They won against Wigan 4-2, while Tottenham who needed to win to keep 4th place lost, which meant Arsenal took the final Champions League spot.

Italian title to be decided on final day, Luca Toni 1st player to reach 30 goals in 47 years, Saad Gadhafi makes his first official appearance

Juve or Milan will have to wait for the final day to either celebrate or weep. Juve are 3 points ahead of Milan, which means Juve need just one point to clinch the title. If Juventus lose and Milan win, a deciding playoff must be played between the two teams, as the Italian League doesn’t not recognize goal differences.

Luca Toni, the Italian League top goal scorer has entered history as he become the first player to reach the 30 goal mark in 47 years. The last man to reach 30 goals in a season was Argentine Anton Valentin Angelillo who scored 33 goals in the 1958/1959 season for Inter Milan. Toni is only the third Italian born player to have achieved the feat in Seria A following Felice Placido Borel of Juventus in 1934 and Giuseppe Meazza for Inter Milan in 1930. Both scored 31 goals.

Saadi Gadhafi, son of the famous Libiyan and Amazigan (pronounced I’m a Ziggan) leader, has made his second appearance and first official appearance for Udinese since his signing in June 2005. His Seria A debut was in May 2004, as he played 15 minutes for Perugia.
