Barcelona was crowned La Liga Champions again for the second time, as they won 1-0 over Celta Vigo courtesy of Eto'o. Valencia failed to keep any hope for winning the title as they lost to struggling Mallorca 1-2.

Barcelona secured the title with an 11 point gap and with two games in hand, and are also on date with the Champions League final against Arsenal. Barcelona have won the Champions League only once since the competition started. And with other Spanish League clubs failing to perform and impress locally and internationally, it might mean a new era of Barcelona dominance, unless the likes of Real Madrid and Valencia pull themselves together.

Congratulations for Barcelona. Read what the Barcelona players had to say about winning the title.
